Road trip photos

Despite getting TWO flat tires on the way, the kids had great attitudes and we reached our destination safe n' sound, albeit 5 hours later than planned.
The colony in the first city where we stayed. I slept with the girls on the roof of one of these homes.

Touring a magnificent palace on Thursday!

Our tour guide was very accommodating and gave the tour to our group in two languages.

It was a privilege to meet several Children's Home alumni and their children in the second city we visited.
A home near to the colony where we stayed in the capital city.
A few of the alumni accompanied us to the zoo and bought much appreciated ice-cream for all of the children!

At the zoo! Do you see the peacock?

We briefly visited a colony where some of the Children's Home children are staying with their parents until June 30th.  Above are four of our girls and their mothers.

The colony where the four girls are staying with their parents.

On our way home, the we enjoyed sodas at McD's - the children's first McDonald's experience.  The air condition (the only we experienced on the whole trip in approximately 110 degree weather) was WONDERFUL!
