One of the challenges of being a single missionary is taking vacations. As a single person far away from family, it's difficult to find people to vacation with. (And as a woman, it can be dangerous to go alone.) Last week, a single woman missionary from South Africa confided in me her struggle in this area.
If you've vacationed recently, take a moment to thank God for the people you vacationed with.
Also, ask God to provide opportunities for relaxation and companionship for any single missionaries you know.
