I can now officially say...

...that I've been backpacking! And not only anywhere, but through the Himalayan Mountains! Our group of 5 began yesterday after church, bunked down in a cave last night, and finished trekking to the peak this morning (which I think was 7000 feet. All in all, our leader said we probably walked 6-7 miles and up 5000 feet.) It was specTACular! We saw some cool animals like a sambar (sp?), which was huge! Looked like a giant moose. And some mountain goats. And of course monkeys. And now my legs feel like jelly so I best get some sleep. Such a fun and truly awesome experience! I hope to figure the internet thing out soon so I can put some pictures up!
